Can someone tell me what the discharge temp would be under a 8-71 blower in the 8-10 lb. range running meth or better yet E-85?

    Thanks, Jim

And that's at what boost #????

I may not need to run a intercooler if the temp is low enough at my 8-10lbs. boost. That's why I ask.

    Thanks, Jim :D

At 8-10 boost and on alcohol your intake air temp not going to be much of a factor to be concerned about.

I run a F3 ProCharger which would be a little more efficient. I was shop testing the engine today and at 8 psi the intake air in the port was 103 degrees and that's on C-16 gas. Ambient was about 60 degrees.

    What is your concern?

    Ron,
I have heard and saw one blower case with frost on it.
My thinking is.....if it's frosty temps (30 degrees???) on the outside it must also be frosty on the inside.
If that is actually the case, running a intercooler with 70 degree'ish lake water is going to raise the fuel charge temps.

I E-mailed my dyno guy and have done Google searches but, can't find info on the temps below the blower on alcohol around 10 lbs. boost.

    Anyone????

    Thanks for the replies, Jim
