Injector Hats

    Are the new carbon fiber hats in funny car just for looks? I noticed Frank Manzo runs 5.50's with the old standard PSI hat.For the money spent the carbon don't seem to have any performance advantage.

    But then again Jay Payne runs a carbon 3 hole and last time I looked Jay was quick and fast ! :cool:

    exactly. ask one of those guys that go real fast if you can look in the injector hat, see what they tell ya:D

    Carbon Hat...

    Burnett is THE man when it comes to lightweight speciality
    parts. He also has been running faster than a Tasmanian Devil!!!

    I've been priviledged to work on Jeff's crew since St Louis. I've been around composites on experimental and custom built aircraft and drag racing (of course) and Jeffs composite work is a good as any I've ever seen. He IS the guy to call if you need composite work or I'm sure he would be happy to answer any questions you might have. ( you just have to listen carefully cause he does talk kinda funny!) Ha Thanks for everything so far......Jeff ! Rick
