I'm working on putting a injected nitro bbc together to run in my nostalgia funny car for 2014.
Looking for a helpful person to bounce some figures off of.

    4.280 bore
    4.00 stroke
    11.5:1 compression
    119cc heads
    320cc runners
Tunnel ram with bird and kvalve
    110 pump
    Pro mag 12

Anyone else running a chevy injected on fuel?

Thanks for any help. Jon afuel777@aim.com

Ive been "trying" but not getting anywhere.......The "tune-up" I "bought" goes slower on Nitro than Alky!! Either sending the Fuel System to someone else or putting a "huffer" motor together I will be paying CLOSE ATTENTION to this thread!!

Bob has a new book out called "Blown Nitro Racing on a Budget". http://racecarbook.com/ Just got mine but have not opened it yet. Some of his other injection books might have some clues for you too.

Did you check over at Classic Funny Car Board? Seems like they have pages of nitro tune ups.

If you can get up with him, mike Kopchick can set you up with a pump and a tuneup. Rage Fuel Systems 843 623 3500.

A good buddy of mine ran a similar combo years back in his front engine dragster. He ran well in VRA's A-fuel class for what parts he had. I can put you in touch with him if you would like.

I'm pretty sure Spud's car is a SBC on the juice, but he knows his shit!!! His small bock has run in the 6.90s. If you work with him, he will work with you. Some times you have to leave a message, but he will call you back!!! I've been using his parts, service, and advise for 6 years, and he has always helped all that he could. He will get you figured out if you work with him.

    injection nitro

I ran nitro BBC 3 years ago with small fuel pump with 19 gallon fuel pump, 2 Mag 44, I ran 6:52 , 220 miles per hour.
Your fuel pump is too small and the Mag 12 is too small.

    Tim

Tim, Tried calling you a few times bud, I spoke with Mike at Rage and he is very familiar with that type of deal, was building one when I spoke with him. Give him a call, or buy a blower and come run with me buddy, I may be selling mine even.

Jody Stroud has ran 3.60's with his Miner motor on blown alky with Mike's help. Mike also runs an A/Fueler and is a great guy to work with. I will be driving to his shop soon to get my blower setup from him and although he is busy he had been great to work with.

Hope you'll let me repay some of the kindness you showed me over the years,
