Indianapolis Regional Event Postponed

NHRA Regional Event at Indianapolis was rudely interupted by rain this weekend. Qualifying was over but only a few sportsman eliminations were completed. The event will resume this coming Saturday and Sunday. Top Alcohol eliminatiosn are scheduled for a normal Sunday 12:00 start.

I'm really surprised this isn't rescheduled for Saturday with Sunday as a raindate?

That was brought up, but what are the odds it would rain 2 weekends in a row here is the warm, sunny midwest.

Update 5/2/13

Per the Division 3 office, they will keep an eye on the forecast and try to make the best call they can by noon on Friday. Any announcements will be made at that time on the Division 3 website.

On my computer, Saturday still looks wet but Sunday is looking better.

You're right on the tough call, but I'm trying to remain optimistic!
Besides, I never believe a weather forecast until about 37 seconds before hand.

 

Still Racing

There will be something posted on the Divisional website soon, but word from the horses mouth is that the race is still scheduled for this Saturday and Sunday.
