I was wondering, what is up with the IHRA

No series sponsor, ( but a long list of, that guy knows, it's coming, just waiting for the right time , ya da ya da ) no title sponsor and no TV deal, sorry posted schedule ( if you can find it please let me no where it is ) what is up with these guys. I am grateful they are running the class and funding it this year, but from where I sit it seems like it's time to get some NHRA grade points so we have a place to race in 2008.....

I remember reading somewhere " Honesty is the best policy " how about cut the BS and let us know what’s going on instead of dangling the carrot and hoping we hang around

    Just getting very frustrated.....

Mike, didn't you say that your IHRA TA/FC team would be running the entire IHRA National Event Series? What happened since you haven't competed at one race so far this season?

This weekend we will be out testing and doing license runs.
The reason for the delay was our engine builder/tuner Al Billes was very busy at the beginning of the year with the other cars that he tunes He was gone for a month and a half after Valdosta so our new engine was delayed for a period of time, secondly we were consigned to the fact that we would not go to the track until we were 100% ready (spare parts etc). We also installed a new 101/2 inch strange rear end in the car and that took a couple of weeks.
Now we are ready, we fired the car up last Friday and we will be loading the trailer tonight. I am very excited about this year I believe our cars performance will be outstanding; I hope I will be the same. And I think with Al's Alcohol Funny car engine program between the rails we should be off to a fast start.
Of course it is going to take some time to dial everything in but we should be very competitive when we get it tuned up....

ps: we are trying to be ready for Edmonton.
