IHRA AFC Wrap-Up

Congrats once again Laurie, thanks for bumping me in that final qualifier (just kidding girl!) Our fault for just missing the "recipe" for getting ahold of that cold track. A BIG "Thank-You" to everyone at K&W for putting on that great party Sat night, that was awesome and very kind on your part. Once again, why IHRA AFC ROCKS! Hey Mark, Tari says "Thanks" for sharing Mommas Shine with her. See everyone next year. By the stellar performances by everyone first round, we will have plenty of work to do this winter! Also a special thanks to my Crew, that engine swap Saturday afternoon was as quick as any I have ever seen, you guys are the best, Tim

Congratulations to Laurie and team on a great year. It's great to see someone get back into the sport they respected so much with such great success. Good job, Laurie!

Thanks for all the congrats! We really are still pinching ourselves after that season! It will certainly be a tough act to follow next year.

We had such a great time with everyone Saturday night at the pig roast! It was great that most all the AFC teams showed up--everyone else really missed a good time!!!! It was really cool for Kevin and Wendy to put that on for all of us and all their relatives and friends that came to the event. They really know how to throw a party, that's for sure!

Can't wait 'til next year now! But until then, I hope to see everyone at the banquet.

Great job all year Laurie and team! I still think that .68 in the semi's was "sick" Laurie. Good sick not bad sick, get with it Laurie you don't leave anything out there for anyone to talk poorly about what that team has done this year. Once again congrats and thank you for the party from the entire Noakes racing and Hoosier Thunder Motorsports team.

 

Hey Paul, you had a VERY impressive season yourself! You also have a GREAT team, a lot to be proud of. Next season should be interesting to say the least

Great job Paul and team. It looks like that other team from Canada, KonRodz Racing has found some serious power from some where and how about there new driver Jason the Viking McKnight can that guy drive or what. Looks like Spiro has finally put a great team together, with the help of tuning legend Al Billes they have found a lot of hidden power. that 5.73 sure made a statement for them. It looks like they might be coming out next year to continue there power statement. I guess the Canadians never give up, they just go out and find the power. Good Luck to everyone next year and keep up the good work KonRodz you guys deserve the change finally.

Thanks for the kind words Bill. We dug deep but I think we have found the formula that we have been looking for. I have a great driver and a fantastic team finally. I would also like to thank everyone that has been giving us words of encouragement through out the year especially Al Billes. It all comes down to those special words, never give up.
