IHRA AFC Edmonton

Wish we could have been there but my crew can't afford to take a full week off work just to travel! Roger Bateman, who is this guy? We were pulling for ya (points thing ya know). Are you going to more IHRA gigs or a West Coaster? Good job with the R/U....See you guys at Grand Bend and the rest of the races, Tim & Team

 

I just saw pic of the finals....Isn't Bateman a NHRA car? Put a roots on it for a race??

 

YEP! a Canadian NHRA car as a matter of fact

 

And a great team of people.

 

Roger is a great guy and he's driving for a great team. Yes it is an NHRA car, but they put the roots on the car for one race a year. Roger hails from Calgary Alberta, just south of us.

 

Talked to Roger yesterday in Mission. Seems they are going to Toronto. Just imagine what could happen with 2 or 3 races a year with a roots. Damn we would like to beat him one of these days....wasn't yesterday.
