Just trying to get a sanity check on fuel pressure at idle, about 2200 RPM.

Roots blown, fuel headed hemi on alcohol
    990 Enderle Pump 15.8 GPM
K Style Barrel Valve set at 78%
.100 pump loop jet .050 main jet
    (10) .041 jets in hat, Ports should be offline at idle
    14 PSI Idle Check
pressure sensor is mounted about 6" downstream of pump

What should the approximate idle fuel pressure be before the barrel valve spool?

    Thanks

Why is your idle check poppet at 14 psi? With that setup an 8-9 psi is more normal. Normally your idle pressure is whatever your idle check poppet is set at. So in your case 14 psi

Thanks for the input, that's what I thought. I am planning on lowering it.

If you change the idle fuel pressure then you will have to readjust your barrel valve. The higher the idle poppet crack pressure then the lower the leak down percent. So for example an 18 psi crack on the idle poppet may require a 75% leakdown whereas a 8-9 psi crack may require a 82-85% leakdown
