Yes, I do, I really do.

I posted the following under Kevin Brown's AFD classified ad where he speaks of selling it off to buy a boat because his crew shafted him:

    "Kevin:

For a second, I thought you were me. A friend of mine suggested I see if National Dragster would like to run a "Where Are They Now" column on my devoted crew as I try to get stuff ready for Sears Point (Infinion). I'm glad to hear it's more common than not.

Rather than throwing in the towel, I may run an ad for volunteers in the SoCal area who are willing to spend an evening or two along with some full days on Saturdays to get it done. I'm sure there are some high energy people who aren't mechanically *reclined* that would like to be involved in a TA/FC."

Turns out Matt Thornton, Daniel Oliver, Pete Swayne and Mike Buonocore are lurkers here. They all read the above post and now they're not returning my calls.

So guys! Remember the good ol' days...all the food...the late nights...oil dripping from your hands and hair...header burns...skinned knuckles...first round losses?

Uh, Kevin, what's the number for that place that sells the boats?

I sell boats! But I have more fun crewing on Guy Kelly's TAD than selling or fixing boats. Be happy to sell one but don't take up my racin' time!

Randy, I love my new boat! Mariah Talari EFI 454....it is a blast....it is always in the driveway waiting on me not me waiting on it...NEVER asks for anything....Has never said one thing and done another....For now the digger will just sit until I find someone who wants to buy it or maybe just maybe I will run it next year...(Sh!t might just as well it's paid for)I am looking at opening a store in Vegas...That said, I'm sure I can find a crew there...people have their chit together there...lol

    Peace, Kevin

Randy, all you had to do was spend a couple hundred thousand dollars more to buy that house closer to me. Then I would not have to drive as far to volunteer my semi-decent help to you...

    Hey Kevin,

If you really wanted to go racing bad enough and you looked around hard enough you could find some quality crew members. There are plenty of us that have some experience on alky cars that would probably give you a hand. Maybe not a bunch of guys locally available to you up there in Utah to come by once a week and work on the car for a few hours after work but ones that could meet up with you at a race and do the job. Like Mitch said in repsonse to your post in the classifieds, get your self one full time guy that could take care of things on a day to day basis and get yourself some guys to work at the track. Yeah it might add in the expenses airfare/gas money, hotel, food etc but at least you would be able to race. Hell my whole super comp car and trailer got stolen last month, I have nothing, at least you still have your operation that you have chosen to park. Just my 02.

    Frankie

ps Randy, If you are reading these posts, I would be interested inworking on your car if you have an opening. Maybe I could do do a try out at the Vegas LODRS race and go from there. I have references.
