I am thinking about having our valve covers hydro dipped.

    Any body done this?
    Has it held up?

Be sure to tell them that they will be on a race car and be exposed to brake clean and other stuff.
Our valve covers have held up perfect, what ever clear they used on them is as good as a powder coat type coating.
But then we had the trans case done by another guy and if you even get a can of brake clean near it, it wants to bubble up. Not sure what guy #2 did different than the valve cover guy, but its an expensive trans case that you can't clean with anything but simple green now.
