Hybrid Pro Restraints

Is it worth the extra money ($400) to get the carbon fiber model?
I'll be in a Front Engine Dragster 7.0 or NE 1
What are you guys using?

On a HANS, the carbon fiber is like 8oz lighter than the 'regular' one. I'd spend 400$ somewhere else.

I have a carbon fiber R-3 for sale. $500.00 comes with the seat pad. I bought the new Hybrid Pro version. The carbon R-3 is nice and light.

I have a carbon fiber R3 I use in the funny car and really like it. I drive a roadster at Bonneville and use a Defender. I've used both a Defender and a carbon fiber Hans device. I can't tell the difference between the 2.
