I agree with the Mad Italian. Why should one pay forty bucks a year when you have a forum like this one.

Will Hanna, if it makes everyone feel better then you could take a buck from everyone when you see them at the track.

I refuse to pay to belong to a site that was once hosted for FREE!!!
I don't care how good or bad the advice is you get there.
I can get all the good or bad advice I want for free, it is up to me to decide what I should or shouldn't do.

HRE.com is a good place IMHO, I've been a member there for a couple years now. Not as specific as ITA on certain subjects so if you have an NHRA TAD you're probably better off asking things here but in a general sense there is a TON of good info on HRE.com and good people too (several from here).

Each board has its own "stars" and its own personality, one can learn from every place.

I my self cannot see why anyone would what to pay for to be on someones forum I have 2 sites that I run and dont charge anyone. go to a lot of site that has really good information and so far it has not cost me any thing. I come here to read on the T/AD and go to a couple Nitrous Site for my NOS information. One of the best is http://www.americandragracing.com/ and so far They have not charged me anything. If a person wants to donate that would be ok but to have to be charged to join I would just fine some place else

    Hre

i can see where this is going and can see why people wouldnt pay but then again,40.00 buck might save you money or even some headachs, allthough im not a member, whats the different in calling DMPE to ask a few tech ? and then one of darrens workers takes your ? and says that will be 90.00 fee for advice, this has happend to me and no i didnt pay the money either, and like i said in my first post, this is the site i go to to to ask and even enjoy learning from others questions but i am open minded and like to check out other good sites for more info, and no i wouldnt have a problem paying some sort of dues for this site,i didnt intend for my post to go that way,and i hope it doesnt come to that,i need the extra cash for car parts lol lol.

I have been a member there for 2-3 years now. Just my opinion but it is money well spent. There are a lot of sharp guys on there and are very helpful.

HRE and Will's sites are the 2-best sites on the web for tech info and help. I wouldn't want to not have access to either site. If you are interested in learning the whole deal, it is well worth the price of admission.

Besides, you spend more than the $40.00 bucks taking the family out for pizza one time. I will promise you, your waiter/waitress will not be able to help you tune your racecar! :D
