as a rule of thumb, is there any proven data to say that, all things the same, if blower picks up 2 lbs of boost it equates to 100hp or ?? Therefor if it picks up 4 lbs does it basically stay same and now pick up 200hp or ??

It's usually 1 psi will produce 100 hp.

I found that number of 1 lb per 100hp on only these higher end 14/71 blower at low od. I've seen some make 6 lbs more at higher over drive but the heat it created it didn't pick up at all. Even after leaning hard on it. The intake temp was just too hot.

It depends on how much horsepower you are making. If you make 2000 hp and increase by one pound the amount gained will be less than what is gained on a 3000 hp motor providing the AFR is correct. There is a way to actually accurately compute it.
