How to shim the cam??

    Guys i need help again
    i have just recieved my drive spud for old jp1 hemi and need to know how to shim the cam,
    i have shims and torrington bearings
    shims at 0.092 down
    i have seen earlier threads that mention gap of 0.001
    is that to the fuel pump extension?

    that is correct. fuel pump extension if it includes a cover or cover if it is separate.

    Thanks, is the gap correct 0.001 and what is best practice for shims?
    Is it fine to put lots of thin ones in, depth aprox 0.488 to 0.50
