How to renew valve covers ?

    I have a pair of Magnesium BAE valve covers that are surface worn (only the finish). In your experience what's the best to renew them ? Powder coat or Dow 7 again ?

    Hydrodipping is a relatively new option that alot of people are using for the 'carbon' look, or other designs. Powder coat is pretty common, and some will paint.

    If you do hydrodip, make sure they mask off the plug tube recesses and o-ring grooves.
