how much oil

    I have a stock 440 chrysler block with a moroso fuel pan part #20045 and a titan oil pump with a single - 16 pick up line and a system 1 filter how much oil should i put in the motor?

    oil pan

    spencer Most of their pans are 12 quarts i believe. BUT you can do like i did set pan flat on the ground & fill with water to just under the windage tray = how many quarts it takes. assuming you have something you can measure the water with LOL

    Make sure you don't overfill the pan. If you do, under had acceleration, the oil will froth up and you will have reduced oil pressure because the pump is sucking up the bubbles and not the oil

    Oil question

    What brand of oil today do people recommend or not recommend with an injected alcohol motor?

    no matter what brand of oil you use- add some oil stabilizer such as Lucas, pro long etc.
