    Blower Speed

Rule Of Thumb From The Blower Gods Is 14,000 Rotor Speed Is About Max For Todays Billet Rotor Blowers. So If You Are At 50 Over And Your Motor Is Turning 8,000 You Should Be Ok. Something To Keep In Mind Is It Takes Horsepower To Spin The Blower And The Faster The Blower Is Spun The More It Could Be Heating Up The Air Possibly Decreasing Power. Do You Have A Way To Moniter Blower Outlet Temp. Current Pro Mod I Believe Go Thru The Lights Somewhere Over 10,000 Rpm At 20 Over As Where Lots Of Say Flatbottom Boat Racers 50 To 70 Over On The Blower But Only 7500 To 8800. There Are Many Inlet And Outlet Combo's For Different Overdrives Currently Being Used As Well To Achive Max Horsepower. Also A Big Consideratrion Is Cubic In. Of Motor And Gear Ratio In Cordination With Blower Speed To Achive The Most Power When Needed. A 6-71 Making 36 Pounds Is Pretty Stout I Would Think Small Cubes And A Good Static Compression Is In The Motor.
