HOT TEMPS, QUICK TIMES ON WOOTTON’S WEEKEND AGENDA

<img src="http://www.insidetopalcohol.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=217&thumb=1&d=1270680931" align="left" borders="0"/> Tulsa, Ok – It’s going to be hot on and off the track this weekend, as several of NHRA’s premier Top Alcohol Dragsters compete at the third race of the Division 4 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series at Tulsa Raceway Park. And Magnolia, Texas resident and driver of the CleanBoost Performance Motor Oil sponsored A/Fuel Dragster Kristen Wootton, is hoping to cool down the competition with consistency provided by tuner Joe Monden.

Wootton enters this weekend’s event after a lack-luster showing at her home town race in Houston a few weeks ago, where the CleanBoostoil.com A/Fuel dragster laid three consecutive tire-smoking laps in route to a round one exit. For the 32-year old mother of two, the race weekend was one she’d rather forget.

“We stunk up the joint plain and simple,” noted Wootton, the owner of Glass Depot in Magnolia. “Our car has not smoked the tires hard like it did in Houston a few weeks ago while I’ve been driving this reliable Joe Monden Chassis car. I am not certain why we had those issues, but we feel like we let down our friends, family and marketing partners at that event. Thankfully, that event is over and we can focus on putting together six solid passes this weekend in Tulsa.”

Wootton’s dragster, tuned by talented crew chief Joe Monden is the flagship of the CleanBoost Performance Motor Oil team and enters this weekend’s race ranked 16th in the NHRA World Championship points chase and currently occupies the third position in NHRA’s Division 4 standings. A good showing at Tulsa Raceway Park should significantly improve her position in both point standings.

“Our goal with Kristen and her team for 2010 was to provide them with a quality engine lubricant which would protect her 4,000 horse power engine and extend parts life so she could concentrate on her driving. We’ve accomplished both parts of this goal,” noted Tim Charlet, Director of Sales and Marketing for Combustion Technologies, the original manufactures of CleanBoost® products. “We understand the challenges of trying to apply that kind of horse power to the ground and how touchy these cars are. Kristen and Joe Monden have done a great job for us in introducing our Mettle Armor Racing Oil products to NHRA Drag Racing. We wish them the best of luck this weekend in Tulsa.”

Wootton will receive three qualifying attempts in attempt to crack the eight-car field. Final eliminations will begin on Sunday. Friends, fans and marketing partners looking to invest into a professional drag racing team and a very marketable driver can learn more about Kristen Wootton by visiting the CleanBoost Performance Motor Oil racing page at http://www.cleanboostoil.com
