Horner's Home!

Veteran T/AD driver, Bruce Horner, is home from the hospital following two unrelated surgeries in as many weeks. After beginning his recovery from the successful removal of a benign brain tumor, he developed gall bladder complications and underwent yet another surgical nightmare. I spoke to Bruce this morning and he's sounding much "weller" than he did during our previous conversation. He's really down on power, but his bout with pneumonia is also beginning to get better. From here on out, he'll be working on gaining his strength back and Bruce is already talking about getting back in the car when he's ready and able. However, he's not looking forward to receiving the next wave of medical bills and I doubt they'll lose his address anytime soon. The Horner Brothers (and family) send a sincere thank you to all their racing friends who have pitched in to help and to those who have offered their heartfelt best wishes, as well. It's not too often that we hear of a "feel good" medical story, but this one ranks right up there with the best of them.
