Hoosier 17/36/16 vs 17/34.5/16

    How do these 2 compare we have run the 17/34.5 for the past 3 years was looking at trying the 17/36. I am hoping we can get more aggressive with the bigger tire has anyone tried both? Do they take more power?

    This may not be current but at one time NHRA banned the 36" in Hoosiers in P/M.

    That's interesting I wonder why that is/was.

    I run 1/8 mile stuff so not worried about NHRA.

    Just trying to figure out if anyone had any experience running both of those tires.

    I've heard of the 36 really helping a car with problems but a pro tuner was not involved. I'm pretty sure Frankie and Pesz like the 36. Most guys I know run the 34.5.

    NHRA Nitrous cars can run the 36's the blower and turbo cars have to run the 34.5
