Much deserved thanks and an update.

I made the flight from Michigan to California to pick up my rig and then to Jack O' Bannon's shop to pick up my baby at long last. The funny car is every bit what they told me it was. Jeff Lirones and the guys are awesome. I nearly cried when seeing it and the drive home was like a dream with goddess in tow....no it wasn't sleep deprivation from making the 2350 mile trip in 2 days all by my lonesome...lol. Everything went smooth until the accident at Oaklahoma city, I missed the accident but my trailer brakes went out, the serpintine belt shredded, there's a nice long dent in the back of the trailer now and one bent jack leg. I want to say thanks to Tori and Billy at the Autozone in Miami, OK for helping me to fix the rig somewhat in the paring lot. It ran worse but better...just trust me on this but either way my lively hood survived the trip and is resting in the trailer safe and sound.

Well all in all I need to say thanks again to everyone who has helped make this Possible for me, I really can't say it enough. This family of drag racers across the world is the greatest thing I could have ever hoped for. Even if you do not know it, if you just spoke to me once about something seemingly insignificant, even if we have never met in person you have all touched my heart. When I was a kid I never would have imagined opposing teams pulling together to fix each others car just to race against each other in the next round, the drag racing family is the best anyone could ever have. The dream of a 15 year old kid still lives after 11 years and 2 wars, despite the combat stress and nightmares you guys have given me a reason to smile.

There are simply way too many names to list so for the millions of miles of support from my friends, and to the racers that I'll never forget....I raise my glass to you all. I hope that when this thing fires I don't let you down, and I hope that someday I can help you guys as much as you have helped me.

    With all of my heart,
    Trevor Sherwood

    Thanks guys

    Thanks guys, and Laurie

I look forward to racing with you all, though it looks like I'm moving to Florida before this next winter.

The world is a small place as I have learned and I'm sure I'll run into you guys somewhere along the way.

Thanks Gene, Stefan, Laurie, Jim, And Marty, I'll do my best not to turn my first race into an expensive fireworks show.

    With love and pistons,

Trevor, thanks for your service to these United States, and congrats on finally getting to realize your dream (you've certainly earned it)

BTW: I bought 2 14mm blower pulleys from Trevor, they were exactly as he described (I couldn't be happier with them), he's a good guy to buy from!

    Thanks Ken,

I'm glad your happy with the pulleys. I still have tons of Mag 14mm pulleys and 3 14mm GT belts if you need any.
