Any of you guys running a Hogan's blower manifold?
I'm looking at a used one for a BBC with 18 degree heads but don't have much experience with them. A buddy of mine had one on his BBC he used to run in his AA/Gas car but had troubles with it cracking all the time so he had Davenport build him a billet manifold in the end.Anyone else have similar problems?

    Hogan intake.

I was also told that there was a problem with these intakes after I got one. I had NO problems on my blown chevy it was a work of art and made very good HP.

I've ran one on my BBC for 2 years with no problems. They are a work of art.

They are a work of art. A little tall for a front motored car but I think I can make it work.

We ran one last year on our BAE setup and we liked it. Nice product.

Order their catalogue. Many good photos & idea starters within. I can't picture a cracking problem, not with the amount of bracing that they add.

The cracking is when someone would weld a blower top on a manifold that had been for two carbs. (Seen this too many times) But when they are building it for a blower, it is a non-issue! Thicker, braced and ready to rock!

The guy I know ran a purpose built blower manifold from Hogan's and it was cracked numerous times with a 6-71 Kobelco on top of it. Maybe it was made on monday? He was running alot of overdrive so that might have been a issue also?

    hi!
just bought a "blower" manifold from BDS for a mopar "B" block wedge application, which is just that:a modified 2 carbs intake with a welded and braced blower top...i ll see what happens...but you kinda scare me,especially with such a high purchase price..
