Hockey Finals

Hey Everyone!

Hope you all enjoyed the game. I must give credit where it is due, the US played an amazing game. Thank god Brodeur wasn't in net the second game, this time we had a goalie that knew what sport he was playing (Referring to when Brodeur BATTED the puck out of the air).

one cool thing is that three of the five the goals scored by J. Toews Z.Parise & S.Crosby is that they were team mates at Shattuck St-Marys were my son is currently the goalie for the prep team and Brodeur son is the goalie for U-14

 

That sounds sweet! Up at my school, we have a pretty good hockey program. Michael Del Zotto who plays for NYR and is eligible for the NHL rookie of the year went through our junior hockey program. I wish I did it when i was younger. I hope to see your son go far

How old is your son? I could never answer the question as to why someone wants to be a goalie, but they are the most important player on the team and are often not credited for the excellent/difficult jobs they do. How long has your son been playing?

I have to attempt to learn how to skate backwards !

 

Anthony is 7teen and has been skating since he was five and i do'nt know why he's a goalie people tell me it's because i did'nt know any thing about hockey untill he started to play but he loves it and was recruted to Shattuck when he was 13teen. good luck to you
