At what psi should the high speed check valve open? 496, tunnel ram bird cather. I have the square metering valve with the main blocked off and run my main jet in the high speed jet holder.
    Thanks

Have you a data logger that is hooked up to read fuel pressure after the barrel valve? If so then find the fuel pressure at the point that the blower boost starts to roll over right after launch and set it to be the same as that fuel pressure.

Reading your post again and I am confused. You are saying you run the main jet in a high speed jet holder. Are you saying you also have another high speed.

What do you have in the standard main jet holder in the barrel valve?
Do you have a check valve on the now main jet in a high speed jet holder?

the original main has a blank in it. The new main jet is in line with the port nozzels with a check valve going back to the tank. What pressure should this open? This is not a blower. injected tunnel ram.
    Thanks

We run a 50 PSI spring in our high speed, we run the same block valve, on a 489 BBC no blower (tunnel ram injection) :D

Sorry, I missed that it wasn't a blower motor. The backmotor know more than me about it.
