Hemi vs BBC

    question for the tech guys if u put together a bae 526 with bae 5 heads and just run alky non blown
    engine what culd u possible expect in hp and performance vs doing a BBC 632 the reason I ask I hav most of the parts to do a BAE hemi ??

    A maxxed out 632 will make will make over 1200 HP I doubt that a 526 BAE would make much over 900

    Ricky Watter built a CFE headed 632" that made 1355hp on a very conservative dyno, before he closed shop & went to wrk for McGaha's pro Stk team,

    So 1200hp in a 632" eng is about as easy as
    "buying parts in boxes and bolting them together,
    for a 632" chvy,

    A 526 BAE naturally aspirated wont make over 840hp unless u start filling ports, & grinding funky cams nobody will wanna grind
