    Butch,
Get it contact with Combo-Flo, he modified one of his fuel valves to be used with alcohol for us a couple of years ago. We bought two from him and have been using them ever since. They work flawlessly and have been great! Check out his website and give him a call, great guy to deal with,

Are you talking about the NOS 16060 alky/nitro solenoid or a regular nitrous fuel solenoid. I have tested the 16060 on the car with 180 psi of air pressure and it works just great. There are a lot of racers using thes 16060 NOS solenoids to control fuel on blown alcohol cars. I would suggest that maybe either the NOS guy was confused or he had just worked in a 7-11 store last week.
