Anyone use one? What brand? I was going to build a new invention. Then I searched and found I was late. Do you like it? Does it have heat? Worth the money?
Then, I thought about something similar for my driver suit jacket. It gets wringing wet some days. YUCK!
    Thanks

It looks like a PITA if it is something extra to pack.
A couple of outboard guys had them and swear by them. I do the hotel and ac thing, but it is just cool and wet the next morning. The outboard guys say they use it between rounds and their helmet is nice and dry.
I was leaning towards the impact safety or whatever one. It is shaped like the bottom of a helmet.... so, it would probably fit in my helmet bag instead of something else to tote around.

Maybe a drag car forum was a dumb place to ask. I bet you guys don't wear your helmets for over 10 min at a time.
In boat world it is not uncommon to have it on for over 30 min, up to an hour...out in the sun, no shade with life jacket, etc.
    Thanks

Bummer Dan. I had looked at those. I ordered mine this morning. I surely would have done business with forum guys. Just a few hours late. Sorry.
    Thanks

No shit, If I have my helmet on that long it'll be because I'm being cut out of a wreck. LOL

I thought of that after posting.
I know car guys probably put their helmets on at the staging area and off at the end of the track. We put on our stuff in the pits, get hauled to the water, sit, drive to the holding rope, sit, drive to the starting line, sit, run 1/4 mile, sit, get called back to the out ramp, sit, then take off stuff.
My helmet is soaked by the end of the day. Hope this helps. I'll post results.

    BTW... the helmet dryer ROCKS!
It wasn't balls hot this past weekend, but it did dry the helmet between rounds. Much nicer.
It is easy enough to build. Also easy to spend 70 bucks.
I got the impact (safety?) one.
