Head Stud question

Might be a dumb question, but I have to ask this! I have a stage 6 block that currently uses 9/16 studs. Is there a stud or stud conversion kit to use 1/2 studs in this block? This is for a nostaligia FC.

 

if your wandering because your heads are set up for 1/2 inch studs, you can get studs that are stepped. they are 9/16 in the block and 1/2 coming out of the deck. keith black sells them.

 

Yes I was wondering because the heads are 1/2. I have a set of 9/16 heads too. But I think I want to run more of the old school heads for this car. Thanks for the answer!

 

if they are brad heads you can knock out the step washers and they will work on the 9/16 studs..our spare set of heads were like that..very simple..good luck S W R
