    Free Lunch "Compton"

All I know is Tom Compton "NHRA President" is happy that he doesn't have a racecar, because he more than likely put on 30 lb's from all the free dinners and lunch's that HD partners bought him or NHRA bought over this loser deal that never happen.
I've seen first hand how lawyers and the such wine and dine people over a deal.
As far as I can see Tom Compton and his crew are the only ones who gained anything from all this PR smoke and mirrors about selling a non-for profit group for millions?
I wonder if the cost of all the plane tickets and hotel fee and dinners and entertainment will show up on there income tax statement that shown at the end of each year. I am just guessing here but I would not be surprised it the tab added up to more than $500,000.00 that NHRA footed.
I seen a local track scam up a closing by house owners to get into the media and try to scare all the locals it was going to close, when all they were doing was drumming up media attention that they couldn't afford to buy. I seen it all now.
