    Happy Independence Day to all!

    Here's a big thanks to all the brave men and women of the Armed Forces serving our country right now or have ever served, so that we can wake up and whether or not an a/fuel dragster has an upper hand in TAD is what we worry about all day :D. Their service, their sacrifices, and many lives have given us the freedom and liberty to enjoy our favorite pastime: drag racing.

    There isn't a much better sound in the world than "...the Home of the Brave" followed by the first pair firing up for first round!

    Proud to be an American!

    God Bless our Troops!

    First pair.

    I had a chance a few years ago to be the first pair out at Woodburn, Or. It was fantastic to hear the National anthem then get the signal to light the first pair. It was really cool to be a part of that but I did feel a little guilty to be sitting with my helmet on strapped in the car during the National Anthem.

    I know how you feel about the guilty feeling, but....... When you're in the program and the first pair out, you just have to gut it out. When we're first out, I want to take off my headset and hat, but time doesn't allow for it. That, and the call of nitromethane beckons. That's one siren song that just can't be denied or ignored. What is it the NASCAR fans say, the last four words of the National Anthem are; "Gentelmen, start your engines". Fire the next pair!!!!!
