graphite blower gaskets?

    I'm installing a whipple r980 on a Veney intake. The intake has an O ring. I had to fad an adapter plate due to the BNR burst panel. The adapter does not have a O Ring. I have two graphite blower gaskets, should I remove the I ring and run a gasket on both sides or just run gasket between plate and blower?. Also what type of sealant do you run on the gaskets? Thanks

    why not just O ring your adapter plate
