Gilmour TAD team robbed in California

Sad to report that there race trailer was broken into in Ontario California over the weekend.
All of the teams tools, all of Ashley's racing gear and all the spare parts were stolen, the only good news to report is the car was untouched.
This is a devastating set back especially after the team had such a great outing in Pomona.

Both starters, Spare Heads, Pistons, Rods, Cam shafts, all of the tools, 3 tool chestes, Tires, Rims, Computer, all of Ashleys race gear,..... you name it... its gone.

When my trailer was broken into a couple of years ago I offered a large ($5,000) reward for the return of the parts. No questions asked. A third party acted as a mediary and It worked. I put the notice up at local speed shops and motorcycle shops. Hope this helps I didn;t have insurance at that time but sure do now STAN

 

I had my trailer broken into in Stockton, Ca. They stole all the hand, air, power tools. A brand new rack of rods and pistons. My computer, even my dirty underwear. Next time I will sleep in trailer. Dave Germain

Just be glad you weren't there when they broke in, if you're like me you would have killed someone or got killed yourself over a bunch of parts that can be replaced. Too bad he/she didn't trip coming out of the door and break their damn neck, but in todays world you'd just get sued so you can't win no matter what. Hell in Calif. they whould prob. get a jury to force you sell off your stuff to pay them. Jody Stroud
