    Bruce,
Spoke with Chuck, John's brother this morning. John is fine, He had a coronery blockage which was opened with a stent.
Should be released in the next day or two.

    Thanks to All

Hello everybody...this is John Anderika, driver of the East Coast Auto Electric Top Alcohol Funny Car. I'm doing well recovering from my setback at Virginia Motorsports Park. As most of you know, I suffered a heart attack on Friday evening, May 4th.
Everyone's concern has been very appreciated by me, my wife, Lisa and my daughter, Lauren. I've read the postings and the cards people sent, but I can't stop thinking of the MacIlvane family. I didn't know Scott or his family, but they will be forever a part of my thoughts. I want to send my sincerest sympathies to the MacIlvane family.
I would especially like to thank my brother and crew chief, Chuck Anderika; the entire crew, Frank Kalinowski, Bill Wruble, and George Miller; friends, Jeff Kundratic, the Helmans: Jay, Dennis and Jack; Division Director, Bob Lang; Dave Mohn and the entire staff at Division 1; Division 1 Chaplain Dave; the EMT crew and paramedics; the LifeFlight crew from Virginia Commonwealth Hospital; the Virginia Motorsports Park staff; and above all else, the grace of God.
    Thanks again,
    John Anderika
