Funny thing about Nederland, TX

    It seems that TAFC drivers from Nederland, TX just up and stop racing. Both Hugh Kelly and Joe Penland did so.

    I think Joe just got busy with running several businesses but I have always wondered what happened to Hugh. I met him back in 1991 at Hallsville Raceway which I believe was right before he stopped racing.

    Does anyone have the scoop? I became curious after watching a few of my old videos from those days.
