Funny NASCAR Comment

    I was watching the pro coverage of the 4 wide circus this past weekend, and they interviewed a NASCAR driver as he walked away from the starting line. They posed the question 'How would you like to get in the seat of one of those? (nitro funny). He replied that they scared him, and maybe he would be willing to try out an alcohol funny...

    I commented to the wife, if he thinks driving a TAFC is somehow easier than a nitro FC, he's got another thing coming...

    I don't think he was referring to it being easier, i think he was referring to the akly engine sitting in front of you being less "scary" than a nitro engine. Just my opinion.

    I was pleasantly surprised that his "handlers" let him watch more than just the fuel cars. It usually takes a wreck to warrant a mention of any non pro class.

    Good point, I hadn't thought of that. He may have witnessed Hagan's boomer... that would get anybody's attention!
