Technical Info:
This square style Nitro version could work great on your Dragster, Funny Car, Drag Boat, or any car that had the room to run this style tank. I think this one was made by McKinney Corp. and as you can see by the photos, it looks almost new and in excellent shape. It's powdercoated gloss black. And is free of any damage or repairs. It's "NHRA tech friendly" and would not only look bitchen on your race car, but would also be super easy to service as well... It has a 3 gallon capacity and is equipped with a plug on the bottom to drain fluids easily. Inlet tubes on the front measure 1 1/4" in diameter, (hose not included). And tank is equipped with a ventilation breather on the bottom measuring 2 1/4" in diameter. Bottom chassis mounting rod (see photo) can be easily pulled out so the whole unit can be removed extends 8 1/4" across. And side mounting bars (see photo) measures 14 3/4" across. This is a much better, more solid mount to your chassis and does away with the "old school" dzus fasteners you used in the past to hold the tank in place. Now that's awesome!!! Tank measurements are right at 14" at the highest point (including inlet tubes) from the bottom of the can to the top. Tank sides measure approx 12" across at their widest points. And 9" across at the front and back of the tank. And it weighs in at only 7.3 lbs.
