I really dont have a problem with this new company, even if there stuff is 10 times better than the other co's
The thing that makes me upset is NHRA decided to put a SFI # with this
thus we have to pay rediculous amount of money for it for the sfi testing
Here is a responce i got from Techline when i asked about "burnout coating" getting sfi approval
"The expense associated with certification, with such a low volume of
material being sold, made it prohibitive for us to continue to sell the
material. We sold the last product to Wizards' Warehouse. I do not know
    what else is available."

Like I've said in the past, I HATE complaining about safety stuff - however, it does seem like this company with the SFI approved stuff has quite the monopoly on pricing seeing as you can only get it from them.

It's too bad that Tech-Line won't submit they're product because from what I gather that is on A LOT of cars, mine included. Usually I'd be one of the first in line to buy newer and better safety stuff, whatever it may be, for whatever the price, but $650 for a freaking can of paint makes me wonder what the hell we're all doing here.

I guess all we can hope is that someone else comes up with a product that will meet the same standard and will be SFI'd so that there can be a little bit of price competition to help the racers out.
