After reading about the end of the David Powers TF teams and with the Torco teams demise I wonder how many TF cars there will actually be? Nascar has helped their teams find sponsors for years, maybe the NHRA should do the same? I have always thought that strong fields helped to create a strong sport. The NHRA has attempted to steal sponsors from teams in the past to sponsor events rather than teams. Maybe they won't be so quick to dump on the Top Alcohol teams now? Dave Germain

I was thinking that top alcohol non-qualifiers might be an easy way to fill out the field. I know I'd rather make a few bucks as a first round duck then go home empty handed.

Good call- doesn't NHRA pay 7500$ for a first round loser in Top Fuel at a national event? Dave Germain
