fuel system flow in Texas

    My buddie has a tall deck chevy with big duke heads and a 1471 ssi blower.1100 pump with loop set at 54psi and a 60 jet.hat nozzles are all 54 high speed is a 110 main was a 80 with 44% blower and 26% of timming mag 20.This is in a boat.We ran a 5.95 et in 1000 feet on a 5.70 dial in.Egt's all about 750.I changed to about 55% and cylinder # 8 fried at 1180.This has been going on for three years.If anyone knows why please help me out.I want to send of the fuel system to be flowed even though peronial did in the beginning.We only have two weeks so does anyone know of someone else who can flow this shit in Texas or close to us.

    I didn't quite understand your post, if Dennis flowed it and it hasn't been altered too much, it should be in the ballpark. Last year it took me 2 torched heads and 2 torched pistons to figure out I had a port line that was leaning it out:mad: The crazy thing is that the spark plug did not show that much heat, normally I melt the ground strap off in situations like this.

    Missed the part about Piranio doing it, you need to call him. More than likely you have another problem as SoDak said. Dennis is usually pretty spot on and his only down side I'd say is sometimes he's too conservative. Which is a good thing.
