Fuel pressure gauge

    Where do you plum the fuel pressue gauge from? I have a K-style BV with hat and pot nozzels and a Hi speed.

    I put mine in the dist block for the hat nozzles.

    Thanks mate I appreciate your reply.

    I bought my hat second hand and the spot that looks like it was used for the gauge is in the line that goes to the port nozzels.

    It will show the same readings there as well.

    A lot depends on what you want to see or what you need to tune the car. If you don't use any tuning software then some of the uses of the fuel pressure are to monitor pump performance over time and to read the pressure that you want the high speed bypass to pop at. In this case it needs to be on the same side of the barrel valve as the high speed bypass. If you are using the data to calibrate or match tuning software then you need to place it where the software expects it to be. Some of the top tuning software out there uses the fuel pressure on the pump side of the barrel valve and assumes and average drop in pressure across the barrel valve.

    I've seen the Gorr calculator... Just one more thing I should be able to put into my PC and not have to drag a TI calc around.
