i have a fresh air bottle from the funny car and the seals in the head (valve) seem to have gone bad. I tried scuba shops, and even called Simpson and nobody wants to rebuild it. Has anyone had this problem? seems to me it cant be more than a couple O-rings or is there someone that can rebuild them?

What about your local welding supply. Air Gas comes to mind they handle medical grade oxy.

    Bruce,
The bottle is useless so rebuild it your self,
Your a drag racer you can do it.;)
If it don't work you didn't loose anything,
You cant use it now anyway.

Just buy a used valve off Ebay. You want a Scott 3500 psi CGA346 Valve. NOT a Survivair or Drager valve. I don't see any currently listed on ebay. Only cga347 valve and thats not the correct one.
