Fontana Points Race

Has the Fontana race been moved to Las Vegas the weekend after the National event? (April 9-11?) Jeff J

 

Yes it is true that the Division 7 Fontana Race that was scheduled to be held on April 24-26 has now been rescheduled for EASTER weekend (April 10 - 12) in Las Vegas. NHRA Competition Department confirmed this today when I called and stated that Mike Rice was suppose to post an update on the D-7 website. It never happened.

 

According to the email received by LVMS today from NHRA - the alcohol cars will be run on Friday and Saturday (April 10 & 11). Friday's schedule is 1st qualifying session at 3, 2nd sesion at 6, and 3rd sessions at 9. Saturday, eliminations start at 3.

 

I guess the noise issue that was supposed to be handled in December still hasn't happened. Big shock.

 

Thanks for the update; the NHRA site and the D 7 site still show the Fontana race on it's original dates...................Hello Mike Rice, come and say hi at Phoenix or Vegas or Vegas..........................

We will still be hosting the SportsNationals on the scheduled Date. The divisional will go to Week of Easter Thurs Fri Sat But no running on Easter Sunday. We will be announcing a race for the original weekend of our divisional on Monday as well.
