how do you guys set up your flow meters? do you run 2 meters, one for the hat and one for the port? or do you run one line out of the barrel valve through the meter then put in a Y to the hat and the port? I would like to get into a flowmeter and learn how this system. any info would be greatly appreciated.

Barrel valve-flow meter-Y to hat and port nozzles. Great tuning tool.

I am running a v300sd. I can get this flow meter i have in the picture. Will this work with the vnet cables? Should i cap off the port line of the BV and run the outlet of the hat to this meter then split it to the hat and the port?

To answer your question directly - When using a flow meter, you have to run everything going to the motor through the flow meter, so instead of using both outputs of the K valve, you typically use the top side and Y it off after the flow meter.

I would call racepak and talk to them about it. Do you know for sure that one was used with alcohol? You will still need the v net module for the flow meter and they will probably want to bench check it to make sure it's calibrated correctly.

If it is a Racepak flow meter then the calibration is hand scribed on the top of the flow meter. Not the one that is neatly typed. You have to enter that number into your Racepak after you do the VNet discovery. If you call me then I can explain that to you. If there is no ha scribed number then it has to go to Racepak for calibration to get that number
