I run Summers Brothers floaters on the 9" in my altered but have been having trouble with them leaking. I tore them apart and put new seals in but they still leak after a hard pass and when it sits for a couple days. Sealing surface on the spindels is perfect and the hubs are in great shape. Maybe building to much pressure in the housing? It has a -4 hose running up to my puke tank but maybe the pressure from the engine burn down tubes is too much? I also tried 1/2 a quart less gear oil but that didn't help. Would like to get this under control because I'm not a fan of oil on the brakes.....Maybe a seperate puke tank/vent just for the rear end?
