Stainless is a bitch to flare. I used .020. Worked fine even after the wreck. It cut thru moly tubing like it was its job.

x2 on the .020 / .022 tube wall. .035 is murder to work with in most any diameter. Make sure you get tube that is flare tested . . .

Summit sells 1/4 " tube that works for this

Look up Summit part number SUM-220214 sold in 20 foot coils.. you will need one of those roller straighteners to make straight pieces. This tubing flares nicely with a Parker 37 degree flaring tool. Bends nicely with hand bending tools. Cut your stainless tube with a fine tooth hacksaw and deburr with a countersink tool and file or od deburr tool . Tube cutters work harden stainless and make it hard to flare without cracking. I also found that urethane, magnetic, vise jaw protectors really help hold the tube without damage.
