I see the pros with decals of their sponsors all over their firesuits. I want to do the same for my sponsors even if the only way I will get TV time is to rob a 7-11 while wearing it. How do I go about getting it done? Are they sewed on patches? Do they have to be made out of Nomex? If anybody has any ideas on how to go about this and not send the suit away for 6 months I would appreciate a few tips. Thanks- Dave Germain

Phoenix did mine when they did my suit. From what Chris (guy who works there) told me, it has to be done when the suit is made. I sent them a image of the company logo and they digitized it and put/sew it on the suit. Looks identical to the real logo, colors and all.

    Dave, google Custom Embroidered Patches.

You can send a logo, and for a price, have custom patches made, then you (Kim) can stitch them on to your suit OR/ you can call the manufacturer of your suit and see what they would charge to disassemble (if they still do that), sew and reassemble.

Hey thanks Nancy. I got a laugh from the (Kim) thing. You are right, she will have to sew them on, otherwise I might end up sewing my hand to the suit or bleeding to death from multiple needle punctures- Dave
