filling heads

i have an old set of pontiac big chief and having problems
with water leaking in head bolt tubes anyone ever try filling these heads before? car is alky injected but will be driven back and around pits . Will this work do you think?

No water. Fatten the idle up, it wont get hot, and no need for water, we do it all the time.
