Putting lenco drive in an altered and need to know where the best place is to put the blowback struts. Had them going from the back of the lenco to the x-bar. Didnt hold. Bent the mid plate. Can I put them on the top rail? Diagonal bar? Front of the motor on the top rail? Would like to know the best place. 526 KB Olds motor. The only upright is at the motor plate. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Our blowback bars run from the back of the bellhousing to uprights on the chassis. We never had a problem with them.

Chris i'm pretty sure yours are in the same spot as mine. We are going to Denton this Saturday and see if we can get down the track. Should be ready for the first race.
