Can someone help me understand how the point standing works for the TAD class. In Division 1 we have Art Gallant with the same amount of points as Dan Mercier. Dan Mercier has 3 wins and Art Gallant only one. Why is he in the number one spot with less win?? I'm not sure I understand the way the are given their position???
Now interesting to see if Mr Finke wins at the last divisional race of the season he will have the same number of points as Gallant and Mercier and the same number of victory as Mercier. Will that mean that Gallant still is number one in that division with only one win...
I have been a fan for two years only and I would like to know how all of this works....
Thanks again and I really enjoy reading all of your post...

It's great but it does not specified how the separate the ranking when you have two racers with the same amount of point.

    Thanks

This season because of what had been described to me as "the Ashley Force Rule" out of division races also earn the tiebreaker or 'little" points. because of that we have the possibility of a three way tie for the division One Tad Championship. There will be a hot dog eating contest at the division banquet to determine the champion :)

So if I understand all of you there is no official answer on how they will determined who wins in case of 2 or 3 way tie......strange, it says in the rule book to contact your division director, he is the one who decides who the winner is?????

Thanks to all and hope to be able to see good racing next year

    tiebreakers

    Division Championship Tiebreakers

    1. In division wins/points.
    2. Head to Head matchups
    3. Wins overall?

If you are tied, Gallant is probably 'listed' in first for no other reason than alphabetically.

    correction

Had to go to drag racing's version of 'The Schwab', Bob Frey here in the press room...

first tie breaker...amount of points earned in claimed division...then head to head..

Well if thats the case then the Championsip goes to Dan Mercier. Congratulations Dan, Serge, and the entire crew. This is the first time I can recall the Div 1 TAD championship going north of the border.

Well you were right Woodchip, they gave it to Dan Mercier. I'm not sure why exactly but as I said before, they are the one with the big number in the win column. Congratulation to all of his team and I just can't wait to see what next year will bring
