Great job to Jonathan Johnson and the Etterman Racing Team this past weekend. I know it has been a frustrating year and glad you finally figured things out. Good luck on the rest of the season.

Great job JJ!!!!! It has been a long time coming for you. Glad you were finally able to acheive one of your many dreams. You have got so much passion and talent as a young driver than many veterans don't have. Congratulations and much luck to many more.

    regarding veterans

    Dear Mr 424

That was a nice compliment you paid mr Jonathan Johnson. It was however very insulting to the likes of Frank Manzo, Jay Payne, Dennis Taylor, Bob Newberry among a few. How would you have any idea what it feels like to compete and win. No matter how many rides taken down the quarter mile, there can be no less of a thrill and yes, enthusiam to keep doing what they do. All of the countless hours spent working on the car, driving to the tracks, and yes, paying the bills. When you have accomplished what these, gentlemen and yes ladies too, then you can truly voice your opinion.

If you ain't got the drive, you aint got nothing! Why else would we do this to ourselves when we could have one hell of a good time if we didn't spend every dime we had doing this?
This is an old veterans view!

    Mike,

Very well said! While its nice to see the up and coming guys and gals do well, ya have to appreciate those veterans who have been out there so many years doing what they love to do. Hope to see you and Janet out there for many more years to come. The class wont be quite the same when you guys decide that youve had enough. Good luck the rest of the season.

Hey guys, I meant no harm in the comment I said. My dad runs with the best of the best in the Alcohol class and the best there are are in Division 4. (I think) I didn't mean to offend anyone. Please don't think that. I'm talking racing in general. Not just the NHRA, but all areas. Sorry if anyone to offense to this, but that was not my intentions. Oh and by the way, it's Ms. 424.
